Just a quick update in respect of activities/inputs delivered within Hartlepool education providers during Neighbourhood policing awareness week. 15th June – 21st June 2026
Monday 15th June 2026 PC Geoff Coggin of Hartlepool neighbourhood police team attended Hartlepool College of FE on Monday 15th June 2026 and delivered an input to students aged between 16-19 years. The session focused on how to reduce violent crime, which included " One punch " Night time economy, Ask for Angela and Spiking.
The learners were amazing, and we had honest conversations with awareness, prevention and safeguarding being the theme throughout the session.
Tuesday 16th June 2026 PC Geoff Coggin attended Create alternative education provision and delivered an input to support the reduction of serious violence. One punch was delivered to students which highlighted awareness, prevention and safeguarding throughout the session.
Tuesday 16th June 2026 PC Geoff Coggin attended Hartlepool transformers users group Central Library Hartlepool, organisers and new councillors, the session highlighted what our older residents feel is a priority to them.
Thursday 18th June 2026 PC Geoff Coggin attended Stranton Primary School Hartlepool careers day. he delivered three, one-hour sessions to three classes approx. 100 pupils on “careers and how do police help us”. Amazing children with brilliant questions and interaction.
